So Sick!

Leyton has been so sick the last week. He started throwing up last Monday and finally quit Friday. We went in to the Dr. on Friday because I was so worried that he was going to get dehydrated. It was so hard getting him to drink or eat anything. One day I was so desperate that I kept dipping his binky into a glass of water just so he would get some water.
The Dr. wasn't to worried about his flu symptoms but was more concerned about his breathing. So needless to say after being at the Dr. office for 2 hours I think he finally decided that Leyton had RSV, the flu, and bronchiolitis. We ended up with a prescription for an inhaler. So poor little Leyton... try holding a mask up to his face to get him to breath in the inhaler. Not a very pleasant experience for him or myself.
Anyways he is starting to get better and act more like himself, but is being very slow about wanting to eat.

Thirsty Kitty!!

I not sure if you are all aware that we have a cat. His name is Jackson! He was a valentines day present 3 years ago. He was so cute now he is just a big cat! That Leyton loves to attack.
So the other night Kyle and I were getting ready to watch a movie. Kyle was in the kitchen making some popcorn. He brought a glass of water into the TV room and sat it on the floor. (we used to have a coffee table....but cheep furniture doesn't last forever, it collapsed a few months ago.) So he told me to watch his water. Ok I said! Then all of a sudden he is yelling "Colette your not watching my water"..opps!! Jackson was helping himself to a drink! Kyle was so mad..anyways he got himself a new glass and brought it in, and says "will you please watch my water this time". OK no problem....I don't see the cat anywhere. So I thought... opps not even a minute later that sneaky cat was getting another drink. What can I say he must have been really thirsty.. So I got in trouble again...apparently I'm the worst water watcher ever!
This time I got Kyle a new glass and he watched his own water :)

Kyle also likes to have a glass of water on our night stand. Cause when he gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom he likes to have a drink of water. However if he just wouldn't drink a lot of water before bed his problem would be solved. But I kindly informed him that I wouldn't drink out of that glass after he falls asleep, because I've heard the cat sneak a drink or two..
