Happy Easter!

These 2 would not stand still for a picture so this is as good as its gets for 2011!

She just woke up....can you tell?

No we did not get a dog...This is "cookie" we were dog sitting for the weekend & Leyton fell in love with her. We took her to her house just before church & it was a tearful event for poor little Leyton. I was shocked that he liked the dog so much.. I thought he would be scared of her the whole time. He asked everyday for a week if we could go get cookie. Sadly he hasn't seen her since, but Kyle is their home teacher & I'm her VT so he will be coming with us just to visit Cookie. Someday we will have to break down and let him get a dog!

T-ball

This is Leytons 1st year of T-ball & he is loving it. He runs around the bases with a constant smile on his face.

(maybe if I blogged more I would learn how to actually get my pics to upload in order)

Crib Tent!!

So I didn't know that these even existed!! Luckily my sister-in-law had one. Averi started climbing out of her crib a few months ago and bed time was a disaster. However this saved the the night. She can't get out once it is zipped up!

Christmas Eve! (ok so I'm LITTLE slow)

My little Angel! She was so excited to put the wings on..in fact I think she threw a little fit when it was time to take them off :(
Every year my mother in law puts together a christmas program and all the grandkids dress up.

The sheaperds. Leyton looks so excited doesn't he!

Scary Santa

So this was Averi's reaction to Santa & you'll notice Leyton is no where to be found. Thats because he is clinging to my leg....not sure who was more scared Averi or him?

Soccer!!

This fall we put Leyton in soccer...(He's the orange # 5 with his foot on the ball in case you weren't sure) the picture below however is his first game. The coach had to help him along... & we practely had to shove him out on to the field. He was a little intimidated at first (ok lets be honest he hated it at 1st). He would just stand in the middle of the field with his finger in his mouth like he was a lost puppy dog.

After a few games he warmed up and loved it. Everyday he would ask if he had soccer. So it turned out to be a good experience...and fun to watch. He was by far the youngest and smallest on the team...therefore the slowest but he came really close to scoring twice...maybe next year :)

How do you keep a baby from playing with your toys?

You tape them to the wall!!
This is what happens if I leave the room for 10 minutes & the boys are bored :) She was just in awe, that they were letting her play for once!
