So this year I made my kids stockings and didn't realize how big they were until I had Averi hold her's up for this picture (she could probably fit inside...hope Santa makes some more money to fill these every year!)

No we did not get a dog...This is "cookie" we were dog sitting for the weekend & Leyton fell in love with her. We took her to her house just before church & it was a tearful event for poor little Leyton. I was shocked that he liked the dog so much.. I thought he would be scared of her the whole time. He asked everyday for a week if we could go get cookie. Sadly he hasn't seen her since, but Kyle is their home teacher & I'm her VT so he will be coming with us just to visit Cookie. Someday we will have to break down and let him get a dog!

So I didn't know that these even existed!! Luckily my sister-in-law had one. Averi started climbing out of her crib a few months ago and bed time was a disaster. However this saved the the night. She can't get out once it is zipped up!

Soccer!!

This fall we put Leyton in soccer...(He's the orange # 5 with his foot on the ball in case you weren't sure) the picture below however is his first game. The coach had to help him along... & we practely had to shove him out on to the field. He was a little intimidated at first (ok lets be honest he hated it at 1st). He would just stand in the middle of the field with his finger in his mouth like he was a lost puppy dog.

After a few games he warmed up and loved it. Everyday he would ask if he had soccer. So it turned out to be a good experience...and fun to watch. He was by far the youngest and smallest on the team...therefore the slowest but he came really close to scoring twice...maybe next year :)

We just went to our wards Trunker Treat!! It was great. Definately beats walking from house to house. Leyton absolutely loved Halloween this year.
Our ward had a haunted house & Kyle took Averi through & she started crying about 1/2 way through... it was one of the best church spook alleys I've ever seen. Leyton jumped at a few parts, but told me that he just closed his eyes.

Miss Polly!

Scary scary.... 2 girls with big guns!! (I'd run the other way)

So we took a quick trip down to Utah the 1st of August....& by quick I mean a long 10 hr drive for only a few days :( We came down because Kyle was running in the Provo 1/2 marathon. Way to go Kyle (maybe someday I'll attempt it...maybe) He did really good it took him 2hrs & 4 min. What a stud!! (I forgot to take my camera to the race...it was early what can I say. ) So any ways we got a chance to hangout with Lorin & Paige...and this is what we did!

So I seem to forget to take my camera just about any where we go this summer :( but here's a few shots that I've gotten. My mom & sister were able to come up for a week in July. That was a lot of fun! (I'll have to copy some pics from her cuz yep mine never made it anywhere we went)

So far this summer we've pretty much just gone from the pool to the boat every week!

My Grandpa passed away just before Easter so we got to be in St. George for Easter. This is the whole family at the Funeral. It was really good I learned a lot about my grandpa that I didn't know.
Cute little Audrey...her and Averi had the same Easter dresses Thanks to Aunt Kem!
So we got some pictures of the two of them.

This is what happens when I take a shower... I try to find something for Leyton to do that will keep him busy...apparently he remember where I hid the Oreos.

He stacked one of his plastic bins on a chair to get in the cupboards above the fridge.

Luckly he didn't fall and break an arm!

In the meantime I put Averi in her saucer so she can't get into stuff...cause she is crawling and can open cupboards/ basically is into everything. So she fell asleep listening to the shower.

Since Averi became mobile she is hated by her big brother..whom she adores. She lights up and laughs at him whenever he comes in the room. Yet he absolutely hates her & even tells me that he hates her. I put a pony tail in her hair the other day and he told me that he hated it. I know it will pass and they will be friends again someday. He was really good when she was first born he didn't get jealous he loved having her around and would climb in her crib with her and was always asking where's Averi??....but now we are definately going through a jealousy stage. The only time he likes her and isn't beating up on her is when they take a bath...he for some reason wants to take baths with her but that is the only thing he wants to do with her.

I haven't been able to get into blogger for a while...then our computer crashed...so new

computer & I'm back!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We stayed in Washington and spent the holidays with all of the Beauchamps. Lots of family dinners and food.

Here is Averi at 2 1/2 months. She loves to smile and I've even gotten her to giggle!! I love it she is so cute and so much fun! She loves to watch Leyton and always has the funnest expressions on her face. I'm always wondering what she is thinking!

Two weeks ago we went to the fair. Wednesday night Kyle & I (this is so different for us) got to go by ourselves (no kids) to see Clint Black. Then on Thursday all the kids/cousins went during the day and rode all the rides checked out all the animals & then watched the Beach Boys. Here they are at the concert dancing!

So when we moved in their were a few things that weren't quite done yet on the house. So the other day some workers were here finishing up the columns on the front porch. They were right by the front door so you could hear them talking to each other. I was in my room getting ready when all of a sudden I hear Leyton yelling at them from the front window. "hey you guys what are you talking bout..you talking bout me?" As they are speaking to each other in Spanish!! It was quite funny I finally had to tell him to quit yelling at them they aren't talking about you.

Well we made it and have actually been here 1 week already. It kind of just feels like I'm on vacation and not really living here yet.

Packing up our house took so much longer than we thought it would... I guess I didn't realize how much stuff I had actually shoved into our little condo. By the time we had everything loaded up it was after 2:00 pm & we still hadden't eaten any lunch. As we were getting into the cars Leyton kept talking to me about some candy he had eaten in Grandpas truck that made him sick. It took me a while to realize that he had eaten some m&m's (which he is allergic too) and of course all the medicine was packed up where we couldn't get to it. We headed out and stopped at Wal-mart to get him some benadryl. Just as I jumped out of the car went into wal-mart Kyle took the kids and headed to Wendy's to grab a quick bite....and as he was driving away Leyton puked all over himself. You would think that I would have been smart and left a change of clothes for him out of the trailer...nope so Kyle had to run back over to wal-mart and buy him something to wear....it was a lot of puke trust me you wouldn't want to sit in it for 10 hours. Anyways after a long morning we headed out at about 3pm and got to WA just after 1am. Once we got on the road it really wasn't bad the kids did surprisingly really well. Only 1 extra potty break.
We are still trying to get settled and decide where things should go..etc etc I will have to take some pictures soon and post them for you all to see. That is unless anyone wants to come see for themselves. You are all welcome too!!

For those of you who don't know my sister had a baby girl just 2 1/2 weeks before I had Averi. She named her little girl Audrey...yes it can be confusing...Averi & Audrey. Anyways yesterday we got together and decided to take a few pictures of the two of them. Here are some of my favorites. Averi Noelle(left) is almost 6 weeks and Audrey Mae(right) is almost 8. So I've been avoiding telling people this but we are moving... Yes, I know its sad :( The Saturday before I had Averi we got two offers on our condo...(which no one had even looked at in months) so while I was in the hospital recovering Kyle accepted an offer. Then a week after I had been home we decided to move up to Washington state. As if having a brand new baby wasn't emotional enough we decided to completely change our lives. Kyle said goodbye to Golds Gym and has been a stay at home dad the last few weeks...which has actually been really nice to have help and have him around.
I'm totally nervous to move out of state and away from my family, but we have really been wanting to get away from Kyle's job....Golds is just too demanding. He worked over 60 hours a week only had sundays off and could hardly ever get vacation time. I felt like a single mom and like we were living seperate lives. I had no idea how I was going to do it with 2 kids. So when the oppertunity came for us to move to Washington we felt like it was an answer to our prayers. We have a brand new home ready to move into...Kyle hasn't found a new job yet but we have faith that it will all work out...and will be a much better family life for us.
We will miss everyone and hope you will all keep in touch. We have some great friends down here and we will be back!!

She finally arrived!! I was scheduled for an induction of Friday the 12th but got bumped to Monday the 15th... I was so disappointed but what can you do. So monday came around and I was waiting and waiting for them to call and tell me to come in. Its now 5pm and nothing I had given up...it wasn't going to happen again :( just then they called and said how fast can you get here? Yeah!!! I'm on my way turned left on Bandgater Hwy and traffic was at a stand still just my luck!! So 40 minutes later I made it to the hospital and 2 other girls had just come in. I thought well its just not meant to be today. They had us wait in the lobby anyway and in about 10 min they had a room. The nurse came in and got me all hooked up and was like are you not feeling your contractions cause I'm pretty sure your already in labor. I was at a 6 so they broke my water and just before midnight she was born. Anyways here are a few pics she's really good so far and Leyton is really good with her as well.

Leyton picking strawberries with Grandpa in St. Goerge. We went down to St. George at the beginning of the month. I bought Kyle tickets to go see Brian Reagan....it was so good he is hilarious if you haven't heard him you should check him out. He's really clean and just funny!
It was a short trip but fun to get away and actually have Kyle come down with us. Its been about 2 yrs since he's come down. Leyton loves going to visit Grandma & Grandpa they have a back yard (and we don't) he loves being able to go in and out and helping Grandpa in the garden. I wish we lived closer!

So I haven't been much of a blogger lately...my internet wasn't working for about 2 weeks so that didn't help. I'm getting way excited my countdown in getting low in case you haven't noticed. I'm ready for this baby to come :) We finally got Leyton totally potty trained this past week. He is loving it and has done a really good job. We let him pick out a new toy for going on the potty all the time and this is the helicoptor he picked out!! His cousins had them when we went to St. George and he loved them. It is now an obsession and I want to throw it away:) We also took the front off of his crib off to make it a big boy bed!! He loves it and I am amazed that so far we can put him to bed just like we always do and he actually stays....not once (yet) has he come out of his room after we put him to bed. (I realize this probably will not last but its been nice so far) In fact he still yells for me to come get him in the morning even though he can get out himself.

Here is a random old picture I just uploaded off my camera.... I got out of the shower one day and this was how I found Leyton watching his cartoons with his stuffed animals...I thought it was so funny!

Leyton singing I am a Child of God...and Give said the Little Stream or at least his attempt. Sorry about the fake 'burp' during the song I have no idea what that was about....except that he's a boy and thinks it's funny!

Leyton's attempt at his ABC's, once again sorry about the fake 'burp' and don't mind the nakedness...he loves to take his clothes off. In fact whenever we get together with Polly lately one of them ends up with some clothes off. Last time it was at our house and Leyton had no pants on...but the funnest was (I hope you don't mind me sharing this Paige it's too funny!) Paige and I went to McDonalds a few weeks ago and the kids were playing on the playground and it was pretty crowded...anyways I look up and see Polly going up the stairs with just underware on!!! Paige ran over to get her dressed and apparently Leyton was struggling to get his pants off!!! We had a long talk on the way home about why we don't take our clothes off when were out in public. Not sure how much he understood we'll see :)

Leyton loves to watch American Idol with us...I think its his excuse to stay up longer. So he will ask every night if he can watch "Amera Idol" We were watching the results show tonight and when Carrie Underwood performed he was glued to the TV. When she was done I asked him if he liked that song and he said "it was beautiful" Kyle and I about died laughing it was so darn cute and funny! Were not sure if he was refering to Carrie or the song!

WOW I can't believe it :( I'm no longer in my 20's it seems so surreal. I remember when I was in the 4th grade and my teacher was Ms. Cooper. She was 23 and gorgeous. I just remember thinking that I would never be as old and pretty as she was....ok so that was 7 years ago. Where does the time go....when you're a kid years take forever....now they just seem to fly by.
So I can't complain, but I just thought things would be so different when I was 30. I guess that's life! I guess I just thought I'd be so much more mature and intellectual.... I don't know what happened there. I guess the good thing is I don't really feel like I'm much older than 25 and hope I don't look much older :)

I had no idea that at 2 1/2 kids had such an imagination...we always seem to have dragons around and dinosaurs eating our toes!! Its so funny the things he comes up with. Last night when I was giving Leyton a bath he asks "mom can you get the baby out of your tummy, so she can take a bath with me?" I told him in a few months when she gets bigger...then today coming home from the mall he asks again if I can get the baby out...and shouts shes bigger now!! He also has a baby in his tummy and so does daddy:)

So Kyle is worried that Leyton spends way too much time with girls!! What choice does he have really?? Here he is enjoying painting my nails...he loves to blow dry my hair. I think its great cause I can just sit their and move my head around. (he just holds it in one spot) He loves to play in my makeup...which actually drives me nuts!
I was down at my sisters house one day and his cousin Kate is not quite a year older...anyways I went up to check on them and Leyton was drinking out of a tea cup with one hand and feeding a baby with the other. It was so funny!! I wish I could have gotten a picture.

A couple of weeks ago we had some friends in town from Illinois. We went to dinner with them and then headed over to boondocks so the guys could play with the kids at the arcade. Anyways this is the prize that Kyle & Leyton picked out with his tickets!! At least he liked it :)

Expecting!!

Ok so we are expecting...a june baby! I wasn't planning on telling anyone for a while, but then I got really sick and my mom had to come up from St. George to rescue me. Thanks MOM!!
Kyle was trying but husbands just don't really know how to wait on you like moms do. I was also supposed to speak at my nephews baptism that weekend and wasn't even sure I would make it. (I made it but wasn't feeling up to giving a talk so my dad filled in. I'm sure he did a way better job than I would have.) So that is how all of my family found out so once they knew Kyle wanted to tell his family. Then for some reason Kyle told his whole sunday school class...(marriage and family) he said it just came out. So I decided that I would put up my countdown and that is probably how the rest of you found out!
I have been really sick this time. :( I don't know if last time since I was working I just didn't think about it and had to go about my day or if it really is worse this time. I am rarely dressed before 3p.m. and only am because I have meetings at night I have to go to. Do you have any advice on how to get over being sick...or constantly feeling nauseas? I just try to sleep a lot (because then I'm not aware of feeling sick) but lately I can't even do that because I'm so stressed out with my new calling I just lye there thinking of all the stuff I need to get done. And its hard to sleep with a 2 yr old running around.
Well enough complaining we are very excited and I know that in time it will pass... and I will forget all about it (maybe). I keep telling Kyle that this is our last one cause I don't want to go through this again...he just says we'll see!

Allergy Testing!

Friday we took Leyton into see an Allergy Specialist. They did the testing on his back this is what it looked like when we got home. It was so sad I had to hold him and it was not fun. I think there was like 37 different things they tested for...so 37 different scratches on his back :( Poor little guy. We already knew that he was allergic to milk but he is also allergic to eggs. And for some reason tested positive to beef and some different vegies. The Dr. thought that maybe because he was squirming around when the nurse was doing it that maybe some got crossed over. He won't eat beef so I really have no idea if he is allergic to it or not.

The good news is that he has an 85% chance of growing out of it...but who knows when. We are hoping sooner rather than later. For now we will just avoid all milk products and eggs. I did however get a little epi-pen in case he ever gets something that causes him to stop breathing. He also told us that if by accident he eats something... I don't have to wait for him to react I can just give him some benedryl and for allergic reactions I can double the dose.
So I guess it was some worth it. I got more information then from his pediatrician, but I felt really bad that I was putting him through it at only 2.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!!
Yesterday was Kyle's b-day...at about 6:30 a.m. he got a phone call from one of his employees calling in sick:( so needless to say he had to go into work at 8:00 a.m and got home around 9:30 p.m. So much for taking him out to breakfast to celebrate (which I had planned to do) poor guy! We'll have to celebrate this weekend!

New York!!

Last week Kyle and I had the opportunity to go to New York!! It was so much fun! We left Leyton home with Grandma and Grandpa and his cousin Gunner. It was hard to leave him for me cause I've never left him for longer than a few hours before...but I survived! (I missed him though)
Here's some of the highlights of our trip!
Here we are at the US Open Tennis. This was the view from our seats :) They really weren't bad....the only bad thing was during the day games it was so hot I felt like I was melting! Seriously!!

My favorite moment was definitely seeing Wicked! It was fantastic!!
A must see.. I can't wait to see it again.

Riding the Subway.. it was so easy and cheep! One thing that we didn't know was that in some places the subway is three levels and also goes above the ground. Its pretty dirty but fast and impossible to get lost on.
We went to the Today show and were right next to a girl who got on TV if they would of just panned over a little we would have been on TV... we also got to see Michael Boubla perform.

Then before heading to the airport we went out and saw the temple. I forgot my camera so this is the picture of it from the Church's site. It was really cool though but was closed of cleaning so we only got to go in the front doors.

Every night we say prayers with Leyton before we put him to bed. Well last night Kyle was helping him and he said "please help us to obey" and Leyton chimes in with "not play with kitty food...not play in dirt"....it was so funny I almost couldn't control myself. Then tonight as I was helping him say prayers I said "help us to obey mommy and daddy"...and Leyton says "obey daddy"...so I guess that explains why he doesn't listen to mommy very well during the day.

This year I was having a hard time trying to decide what to do for Leyton's 2nd birthday. With very little family close by its hard to have a big party with just family. So Thanks to all of you who came to help us celebrate and make it fun for Leyton. We went to the Classic Fun Center to 'bounce'! Originally I was going to have it at Jumpin Jacks in West Jordan it was scheduled to open on the 15th of Aug, but needless to say they didn't open on time. So at the last minute I had to call everyone and let them know that the party had to be moved to the Classic Fun Center in Sandy. Then I ordered a cake from Harmon's and went to pick it up on the way to the party...however they put the order in the wrong slot and hadn't even started on the cake. They told me that they could have a cake done in 10 minutes for me for free...it was such a cute cake and when she said it would be free I decided that we would just be a little late to our own birthday party.

So we had a few little bumps but were able to make it and had a great time. Here's Leyton and me heading down on of the slides..if you look closely he is a little scarred of the slide.

Wow its hard to even remember that this was my little boy just 2 years ago...I can't believe how fast it has gone. Its so amazing to me that in just 2 years he has gone from so dependent on me to this very independent little man. Its such a testament of Gods plan.
I love watching him grow and learn new things each day. He's talking so much. I can't even begin to imagine my life without him. This picture was taken on his 1st birthday even in one year he has changed so much.

Beachamp Family Vacation!

Every year we get together with all of Kyle's family for a week in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. We stay at a house right on the lake. Its so pretty there. We do a lot of boating and the guys do a lot of golfing. This year there was 10 adults and 12 kids ranging in age 5 mons to 15. Kyle and I could only go up for 3 days while everyone else was there a week (no fair:( maybe next year we will get to go for the whole time. So it was a short trip but fun as always. As you can see from the picture even us adults like to tube. This is Michelle (kyle's sister) me and Kyle!

Real Salt Lake Game

Saturday night the Fotheringhams invited us to go with them to the Real Salt Lake Soccer Game. It was fun and something different then the usual Saturday night. I played soccer in Jr. High and High School so I of course loved it. Kyle actually surprised himself and enjoyed it. He's not much of a soccer guy...now he can't wait to get Leyton playing :) We got to leave the kids THANKS to a great babysitter :) It was so nice to do something without kids for a change. She watched them both at our house. Then after the game we came back to our house ordered a pizza and hung out. While the kids got in the tub! It wasn't their 1st bath together but they had a good time splashing each other and 'kissing' They have such a love hate relationship!! These might come in handy later in life....

On our way to the rodeo I made the mistake of telling Leyton that we were going to see some cows. The whole way there (we had to run some errands first) he wouldn't stop talking about the cows...it was driving me nuts! So then after the rodeo the whole way home he wouldn't stop asking for a baby horse...so here is a video I got today of him asking for a baby horse.

This year we went to the West Jordan Rodeo for the 4th of July! Thanks to Mindi and her mom for getting us 2nd row seats! It was great.

I have to admit that when I heard people talking about the Twilight Series and vampires I thought "oh wow people really read that kind of stuff" but as I heard more and more people talk about how good they were I figured why not read it and see what all the fuss was about. So I of course loved them I haven't heard of any one who didn't. My mom actually just finished reading them all and she loved them as well. So they are definitely for all ages :)

When I was at costco one day I saw this book The Host, having no clue what it was about I bought it anyway. I figured I liked her other books so much this one must be just as good. I have now finished it and must say that I'm not really into sci-fi but loved this book just as much. When I first started it I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it but once you get going its great. I'm hoping for a sequel!!

Did you all know Aug. 2nd the last book in the Twilight series comes out! I can't wait!

Klutzy...

So I got these shoes at the beginning of the summer and all I seem to do in them is trip! Last night I needed to run to target to get some things...I was walking in carrying Leyton and totally fell on my butt right before I crossed the street to go in. Leyton started to cry (he didn't get hurt I managed to hold on to him) I think he was just a little scarred because his mom is such a klutz. The good thing however was that no one seemed to see it happen, or they were too busy laughing to come ask if I was alright.
I also wore these shoes up in Seattle back when we went with all of Kyle's family. Our hotel was right downtown so everyday we would walk to places. Well I would try to walk but kept stumbling everywhere. Kyle kept making fun of me the whole time...then we all went to lunch one day at Ivers Fish house and you know everyone in the restaurant was watching us because there were 22 of us following the hostest to the back of the restaurant....opps! I totally almost fell flat on my face. If it wasn't for my sister-in-law who was right in front of me blocking my fall I would have gone down. That time it was very embarrassing.. it was so loud on the floor and I heard people gasp.
Anyways I think I just might have to retire these shoes...They are the problem not me:) I hate to not wear them because there cute and were a little pricey!

South Jordan Carnival

Last weekend we went to the South Jordan Carnival with our friends Mindi and Adam and their little girl Maddison. Leyton and her loved the boat ride. They rode it twice! It was fun to do something different for a change and Kyle seemed to enjoy himself on the rides as well. I however had a headache and knew that any type of spinning ride would make me so sick :( so I avoided most the rides. I did however venture out and take Leyton on a little kids roller coaster ride. Maybe next time...cause I do love rides.

Aprons!!

My mom was here visiting about a month ago and we were down in Orem at the University mall shopping with my sister...we we came across the cutest aprons (www.flirtyaprons.com) however they are like $30.00 or so for 1!!! Not wanting to spend that much for an apron especially since I rarely cook. My mom came back up and we attempted to make our own! Were not seamstresses...
but heres how they turned out..and we got three and enough fabric for a half one if I'm ever daring again to sew all day....it took us literately all day to make 3...it was midnight before we were cleaning up.

Poor Leyton was neglected all day...here's how he spent most of his time! The porch is his favorite place so he was actually really good considering he was being ignored. He did keep coming in and asking us what we were doing??
He's addicted to his blankies and passeys!!

Seattle

Sunday morning we got to fly up to Seattle to meet all of the Beauchamp's for the Monday night Mariners Game. I guess you could call it our family home evening. It was so fun to get away even though the Mariners lost :( I don't remember who they lost to...thats how much I really paid attention to the game. I could tell you the score however!
Our brother in law rents a press box so with all the food and kids running around you really don't pay attention to the game. Heres a few pictures from our fun trip! We got to go down on the field (where Leyton got his first splinter from one of the players benches) Then we meet there mascot a moose...who knows his name. Leyton was terrified of him if you can't tell form the picture.

We also took a "ride the ducks tour" of the city. The tour bus/boat really was a bus that turned into a boat. We started out touring the city and ended up in the water. Its such a pretty city if you've never been. Leyton however fell asleep on the tour before we made it to the water. We also went to the aquarium and got to do a little shopping...since our hotel was right downtown within walking distance to all the shops. All of that cramed into about a day and a half. It was tiring but great fun to see all of Kyle's family.

Friday afternoon we took Leyton to the zoo....besides being a little overcast it was great. The animals were lively and it wasn't crowded. Leyton absolutely loved it. He got so excited at most of the animals.

This Leapord was pacing back and forth and Leyton would back away every time would come at him...it was so funny!! I guess if I didn't really understand that it couldn't get me I'd be a little scared too.

Potty!!

Lately Leyton had been so interested in the "potty" so Kyle and I went out and got him a little training potty. He loved it right away.. he keep sitting on it and saying "potty...potty." Today he kept saying "potty" and going in to sit on his potty... I thought it was pretty cute. At one point I needed to change his diaper, so I figured what the heck I have take it off so I'll just sit him on his potty and see what he does. He sat there saying potty..potty then we he got up I peeked in and he had actually peed in it. I was shocked so I did it again later when I was getting him ready for bed and he did it again. :) We are pretty impressed! I'm sure he won't actually be potty trained anytime soon since he's not even 2. It gives me a little hope that Potty training won't be the hardest thing ever. If you have any great tips on potty training let me know because I'm very nervous about it.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go down to St. George and see my little brother graduate from Dixie State. Wow what an accomplishment! I never thought that my little brother would be so grown up....and graduate at the same time as my husband (who is choosing to have his diploma mailed)

St. George

We took a quick trip down to St. George last Monday- Wed. I went with my sister and her kids. They had spring break last week. The weather was so nice and warm. We were so sad to come back home to 40 degrees :(

Here are a few cute pictures from one of the 3 parks we went too. Leyton had a sweet routein, he would climb up to the slide hang from this bar then go down the slide and repeat...over and over. It was so funny! We also had a picnic at the park it was a lot of fun. He really enjoys having all the cousins and grandparents around.

Him and his cousin Kate play really good together..or should I say she enjoys bossing and dragging him around. He doesn't seem to mind either. They even loved playing together in the bath. One morning they were in the tub for at least an hour.

Oweey!

Leyton's been in that stage where he loves to point to your eyes, nose, teeth, hair etc.... but the last couple of days he sits on my lap and starts pointing to my eyes and says "eyes" then my teeth and says "teeth" then he points to my forehead and says "oweey!" I'm thinking that because every where we go people point to his forehead and say oh look at that oweey! He now thinks that your forehead is called an oweey!
What a cutie! He makes me laugh so much.

Wedding Day Tag!

3. Who proposed to who and how?
Kyle proposed to me. I came home from work one day and there were rose petals all over my bedroom floor and bed. Then in the middle of my bed was this little wooden box with a note on it that said "open me" As I was trying to open the (puzzle box) Kyle jumped out of my closet and got down on one knee, said something cheesy, and I guess I said "yes!"

4. How long were you engaged?
4months

5.What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
The whole day was great but right before we were sealed we sat together in the celestial room. The spirit was so strong I had butterflies in my stomach. It was amazing! I remember just feeling so happy but extremely nervous at the same time.

6. What would you change if you could?
I would get my hair and nails done professionally. Have the girls in the families wear wedding colors. I don't know what I was thinking I didn't have any bridesmaids which was fine but I could of at least had them where my colors. I would have a better photographer. Maybe some other small things. Styles change so much.

7. What were your wedding colors?
Red and Silver

8. Do you remember anything special from your cceremony? Any good advice? A comical moment?
As we were walking into the sealing room one of the cute little workers stepped on my dress and the button that holds the train up broke off. I was so worried because that's one of the things they ask is that you have your train up while in the temple. I thought that I was going to get in trouble. Then one of Kyle's uncles cell phone went off twice during the ceremony. However I do remember the guy that sealed us told Kyle to make sure that he always makes me smile :) and to kneel together in prayer every night.

9. Were you clean or messy when you cut your wedding cake? (did you shove it in each others mouths & get it all over your face? yes/no)
We were pretty clean I think we got a little on each others face but not much! I told him not to shove it in my mouth because I don't like cake. I was only eating a bite for pictures.

This year I wasn't going to do an Easter Basket...(he doesn't really understand) but at the last minute I decided to and with the help of both Grandmas it was full.

I also had a basket for Kyle just to be cute and fun! So when Leyton woke up I went into get him . I heard Kyle getting up too so I figured that he was on his way....wrong next thing I hear is the shower going...what has he forgotten that it is Easter..doesn't he want to watch Leyton enjoy his basket full of surprises!! I was so annoyed. Oh well he missed it all (his loss I guess boys just don't get as excited) and it was cute! Leyton loved pulling out his toys and eating candy! Mostly smarties he's really not a candy eater. Yet!

Overall it was a good but quiet Easter. We celebrated with just our little family went to church and then had a nice Ham dinner. (I cooked that is unusual)

Wal-Mart

I haven't felt like posting anything lately. However today I had an embarrassing moment at Wal-Mart. I had to go (I hate going to there) this morning to pick up a few items that I had been putting off. Such as eggs that Kyle seems to ask me every night if I got any eggs yet?? They are one of his staples. Any ways I had my full cart and was checking out when I went to grab my debit card I couldn't seem to find it any where....hum! Not just my debit card was missing but my entire wallet was no where to be found in my purse. Luckily my check book was there, which is odd cause I never use it..so I thought maybe I could get away with writing a check with no ID. I had all my bags back in the cart and the lady kindly says "can I see your ID" (just so you know the lady in front of me wrote a check and I didn't hear her ask for her ID..that's why I thought that maybe I could get away with it) So I explain that I don't have it because my toddler likes to take it out of my purse and play with it therefore it must be at home some where. Well she says "I'm sorry but I have to see your ID or I can't sell these to you." Well I don't know about her but I definitely thought that I looked like someone who goes around stealing checkbooks forging checks with my 18 month old in hand.
Whatever...she let me leave my cart with all the bags in it with her while I ran home got my wallet and returned to purchase my groceries. How embarrassing!
I do realize that she was just doing her job...it was my stupidity for not making sure that I had money to buy things.

But did I mention that I hate going to Wal-Mart!!

Here are the pictures of the actual stitches. So sad. I am really hoping that they don't scar bad. I took Leyton to the grocery store the day after and I think that a few little kids got scared by the sight. I heard one little boy (after looking and them with a terrified face) say to his mother that something was wrong with the baby's face. I suppose if you've never seen stitches before its a pretty scary sight. Needless to say I put a band aid on them the next time I went out.
